Everton fans have fumed over the rumours that the club would look to Mark Hughes to replace Marco Silva as manager.
The Portuguese manager is under intense scrutiny after a poor start the season has seen his side pick up just four wins out of their first 13 games, combined with a disastrous run of form away from home.

The Toffees’ latest defeat, a 2-0 loss against Norwich at Goodison Park, was the final straw for supporters sat in the Gwladys Street End that day as a chorus of boos at full-time told the story.

The Express have revealed that the board have shortlisted former Stoke City boss Mark Hughes to take over if they were to dismiss Silva from his role.
Supporters were angry with the speculation of the former Southampton manager taking charge and made their feelings clear on social media.
One fan said that the club should liquidate if he is hired, while another said that he would simply stop supporting the club.
