Plenty of Everton fans have been lauding Allan as Michael Keane referred to him as a ‘defender’s dream’ in an interview with evertontv (via the official website of the Merseyside club).
Keane was speaking after the Toffees ran out rather comfortable 1-0 away winners at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in the Premier League on Sunday thanks to a bullet header from Dominic Calvert-Lewin following a Lucas Digne cross.

Allan made his Toffees debut in the game alongside fellow new arrivals James Rodriguez and Abdoulaye Doucoure, and Keane was very impressed with what he saw from the Brazil international.

The central midfielder won eight of his duels and made four tackles, three clearances and two interceptions, according to Sofascore, as he helped Keane and his teammates to keep a clean sheet against Spurs.

He was unbelievable. James makes all PL fans gush at his quality but Allan was the single most influential player on the pitch for me. NBC Sports Graeme Le Saux could not stop raving about him the entire game.
