Loads of Everton fans have been lauding the latest piece of transfer news coming from Fabrizio Romano on his official Twitter page.
As per a tweet from the football journalist, Real Madrid are in advanced talks with the Merseyside club to sell James Rodriguez to the Toffees, and the move could be completed in the next few days.
While the deal is not done yet, Carlo Ancelotti has already apparently contacted the Colombian international to convince him to come to Goodison Park.

Indeed, this would be a statement signing from the Italian boss given the pedigree of Rodriguez, as he has two UEFA Champions League titles as well as several other major trophies to his name, according to Transfermarkt.

The 29-year old has also played in 51 games in all competitions under Ancelotti before during his time at Los Blancos and indeed Bayern Munich, and in those matches Rodriguez managed to score a relatively impressive 18 goals and make a further 19 assists (via the website).
