Loads of Everton fans have been lauding a transfer update involving a possible swap deal with AS Roma involving Bernard and Robin Olsen.
In an exclusive interview with LAROMA24.IT, the agent of the former, Adriano Spadotto, claimed that it was possible for a potential swap to happen between the two clubs, while also revealing that he has spoken with manager Paulo Fonseca about the possibility of his client moving to the Serie A team.

Olsen is only on loan at the Goodison Park faithful from Roma at the moment, but there may well be an option to make his move into a permanent one which may see Bernard move in the opposite direction.
The potential swap deal could make sense for both sides, as Olsen could provide some much-needed competition to Jordan Pickford whereas Bernard could go and play more regular first-team football.

Everton fan reaction to update on Bernard and Olsen
These Toffees supporters lauded the transfer update involving both players on Twitter:
“Getting Bernard off the wage bill and using half what his contractual wage is now on a solid back-up keeper would be a good bit of business.”
“Should be all over the Bernard Olsen swap deal. Gets a solid GK in at a fraction of Bernard‘s wages.”
“Please.”
“Roma just need to chuck in 14 million to that deal and I’d take that in a heartbeat”
“Well worth it considering Bernard’s wages”
“Olsen plus cash for Bernard. Frees up loan space also. Gets Bernard’s high wages off the bill. Makes sense”
