Everton: Fans laud Yannick Bolasie as he works on his fitness and wants to play

Plenty of Everton fans have been lauding Yannick Bolasie as he revealed in an open letter on his official Twitter page that he is working hard to regain his fitness at the possibility of returning to play for the Merseyside club for the remainder of the 2019/20 season.

The 31-year old has been on loan in Portugal at Sporting Lisbon and scored two goals and made five assists in 25 games in all competitions, according to Transfermarkt, but wants to return back to Goodison Park and play some part in the rest of the campaign.

One EFC supporter claimed that he was ‘better than Walcott and Iwobi’, and the Democratic Republic of the Congo international has averaged more shots and has been fouled the most in the Liga NOS compared to the other two wide men in the Premier League so far in this term, as per Whoscored.

Another Toffee said that he has a ‘great attitude’, which is hard to argue against given that he has shown his determination to get back on the pitch for the Blues.
