These Everton fans could barely contain their delight when former manager David Moyes accidentally blurted out their team’s name in error during his first press conference upon his return to West Ham United.

The Hammers reappointed Moyes earlier this week following the sacking of Manuel Pellegrini after their weekend defeat to Leicester City.
It meant that Moyes sealed a return to the London Stadium, where he last managed in mid-2018 – some five years since leaving Goodison Park for Manchester United.
A clip of his latest interview then surfaced online showing Moyes talking about West Ham before inexplicably name-dropping his club of 11 years when talking about his new team’s form.
As a result, Everton fans were quick to jump on the back of their ex-boss, with several suggesting that the club is clearly still in Moyes’ heart.
