Everton: Many fans love Duncan Ferguson’s post-match interview passion

Everton’s 1-1 draw at Old Trafford will have been disappointing knowing they were 1-0 up with 15 minutes to go, but Duncan Ferguson would have surely taken the point before the game kicked off given his side’s position in the table. He’s now earned four points from two games since taking charge and fans are loving seeing him in the dugout.

Expectations will have been low when the club legend took over from Marco Silva two weeks ago, but the 3-1 victory over Chelsea last weekend seems to have given supporters an appetite for a man who really has the club at heart. There have been rumours over the past few weeks that David Moyes could step in to take charge, but some fans are happy with Ferguson for the time being.

The club’s official Twitter account posted a video of the manager’s post-match reaction, and he complimented various players with passion, and that’s something the fans picked up on. Some were quick to reply and express just how refreshing it was to have Ferguson in the hot seat, and others even called for him to get the job full-time.
