Everton fans have been reacting on social media after Gary Neville had his say on the football club as a whole.
The former Manchester United defender had his say on the People’s Club as part of a campaign by eToro – an official partner of the Toffees – and made some positive comments about the 141-year-old football club.
Neville, who is now a Sky Sports pundit after retiring from his playing career, played 597 times for the Red Devils and won 12 Premier League titles and two European Cups during a career which spanned over 19 years.
The 44-year-old spoke about the feeling that he gets when he’s at Goodison Park, saying there is an impression that “every single fan lives within 10 yards of the ground”.

Fans resoundingly agreed with what Neville said and made their feelings clear on social media. One fan said that he never liked him as a player but has a “small bit of respect” for him as a pundit.
