Everton: Fans mock Aiden McGeady after being transfer listed by Sunderland

Everton fans have been mocking former midfielder Aiden McGeady after a leaked photo emerged online following his side’s defeat to Gillingham in League One.

The former Ireland international has been told by the Black Cats he can leave, with manager Phil Parkinson confirming that the decision was made in the best interests of the club.

McGeady was an unused substitute as his team fell to a defeat in the 89th minute thanks to Gillingham’s Connor Ogilvie.

After the game, he was pictured in his full tracksuit at somewhere he perhaps should not have been:

McGeady was photographed eating a McDonald’s meal just hours after the defeat and is now on the club’s transfer list as a result of a training ground bust-up.

Supporters were quick to ridicule McGeady after his latest setback and made their feelings clear on social media.
