Everton were heavily praised over the summer for their transfer business and now some of their new additions are settling in they’re looking like a class outfit. Andre Gomez, Richarlison, Bernard and Kurt Zouma have had a big impact and whilst Yerry Mina is yet to shine on the pitch, he’s already gone some way to winning the fans over off of it.
| Yerry Mina was only on the pitch for five minutes, but that didn’t stop him gatecrashing the Man of the Match circuit!

The Colombian central defender joined Goodison Park for a sizeable fee over the summer after his time at Barcelona was viewed as a failure. His performances at the World Cup will have gone a long way to convincing the likes of Marco Silva and Marcel Brands that it would be worthing shelling out for the 24-year-old defender. He netted in all three of the games he featured in at the World Cup and now he’ll be keen to show what he’s about on Merseyside.
The Toffees currently have Michael Keane and Kurt Zouma who have struck up a partnership at the heart of the clubs defence, although when Mina is back to full match sharpness following the foot injury that saw him miss the start of the season then there’s no doubting he’ll be giving Marco Silva selection headaches. He has the potential to be a huge player at Goodison Park and if he can live up to his full potential then Everton will have a real player on their hands.

The Toffees will be keen to see more of Mina on the pitch and will hope his performances can match his attitude and mentality off of it.
