Cenk Tosun was able to get back to scoring ways after he found the back of the net against Fulham at the end of last month in Everton’s 3-0 win at Goodison Park.
Nevertheless, it has still been a disappointing start to the season for the Turkish centre-forward whose struggles in front of goal have seen him lose his starting spot in Marco Silva’s starting XI.
Tosun has since been linked with a return to his former side Besiktas, although Turkish-Football report the 27-year-old is fully committed to the Toffees.
Looking at Everton’s squad, Tosun is still clearly the best out-and-out striker at the club and still has time to turn things around.
The Turkey international showed glimpses of his quality last season following his arrival from Vodafone Park back in January giving Everton supporters room to remain optimistic.
