Everton fans have blasted Antonio Rudiger for trying to get winger Bernard sent off when the two players came together off the ball on Sunday.
Both players were booked when Rudiger fell to the grown after it appeared that the Brazilian leaned with his head towards Rudiger in the first-half, although being much shorter than the Chelsea defender.
The German was left reeling after hitting the deck and being sanctioned by referee Kevin Friend in what was a tempered match at Stamford Bridge that ended in a 0-0 draw.
The 25-year-old Rudiger then labelled his yellow card ‘a joke’ after the match, saying that Bernard should’ve been sent off and that the Premier League is in urgent need of VAR.
The Everton supporters however were not very impressed with Rudiger’s antics and have had their say on Twitter.
