Everton fans have yet again expressed their unhappiness with Theo Walcott after Saturday’s performance against Cardiff City.
Despite playing a big part in Marco Silva’s men scoring the only goal of the match which handed Everton a 1-0 win at Goodison Park, the supporters were far from pleased with Walcott’s general play and would like to see Ademola Lookman start ahead of the England international.
The Toffees face Liverpool in the Merseyside derby at Anfield on Sunday and they will have to be much more clinical and composed if they are to trouble Jurgen Klopp’s side.
Silva is clearly a huge admirer of Walcott as the 29-year-old has started in all thirteen of Everton’s league fixtures so far this season, but some fans want to see that run come to an end in the Merseyside derby.
Indeed, a handful of supporters have called for the inclusion of Lookman, who has been in intriguing form lately, to get the nod ahead of Walcott for the big encounter.
