Amdre Gomes has been a brilliant addition to Everton. The Portuguese midfielder hasn’t needed long to show his class both on and off the pitch and after he helped out with Everton in the Community the fans have been calling for him to become a full-time edition of the squad.

Gomes is a superb midfielder and he’s just unlucky that his time at Barcelona didn’t work out the way he wanted it to. However, he’s now on-loan at Goodison Park and he’ll be keen to make a good impression at the club as Barcelona will likely be looking to cash in on the 25-year-old next summer as it looks like he’s surplus to requirements. That could lead to Everton benefitting from a cut-price move.
To be a Toffee, the fans demand that their players put in 100% both on and off the pitch and to see their on-loan midfielder tweeting about how amazing his time was was helping out with EITC has only strengthened their calls to get the Barcelona man on the Goodison Park payroll permanently. Marco Silva will be keen to utilise the midfielder against Manchester United at the weekend and if he can continue to build on his strong start to life in Blue then there’s no telling how far he can go.
