Everton fans have heaped praise on striker Dominic Calvert-Lewin after what has been his best season in a Blues’ shirt.
The 22-year-old scored his 10th goal of the season during his side’s 2-2 draw against Newcastle United on Tuesday and his 12th in all competitions. He has already bettered his goal tally of eight goals last season from 38 outings (as per TransferMarkt), which means that his record during the current campaign is his best since joining the club from Sheffield United in 2016.

The newly-appointed manager Carlo Ancelotti described him as a “dangerous player” after his goal against West Ham and has become a crucial asset for the Italian after playing every minute of every Premier League since he took charge of the club, as per Whoscored. They also revealed that he has averaged 2.2 shots and 4.8 aerial challenges won in the league during the current campaign. Indeed, perhaps this reinforces why Toffees fans were delighted with his performances and made their feelings clear on social media.
