Everton fans have heaped praise on shot-stopper Jordan Pickford after his performance during England’s 7-0 victory against Montenegro on Thursday.
The result meant that the Three Lions qualified for Euro 2020 with ease, and with one qualifier remaining against Kosovo on Sunday.
Pickford found himself with very little to do but made two crucial saves and kept a clean sheet as the Three Lions ran riot at Wembley during England’s final qualifier on home soil before the tournament begins next June.

The win was England’s 1000th international and the Toffees goalkeeper posted on Twitter (via @JPickford1) how appreciative he was to have played in a landmark affair.
Supporters were very complimentary about Pickford’s performance and made their feelings clear about his outing on social media.
