Everton fans have praised local lad Tom Davies after speaking out about his commitment to the club and his lifestyle changes in order to improve as a player.
The 21-year-old has cemented his place in the squad after emerging through the Ronald Koeman regime and shone during his side’s 4-0 win over Manchester City in 2016.
Davies, who came through the academy at Finch Farm, made 50 Premier League appearances at 19 during a 1-0 defeat to Watford and was named by the CIES Football Observatory as the world’s seventh-most promising footballer under the age of 20.
He has scored just one goal in seven appearances in all competitions this campaign.
