Everton fans have heaped praise on defender Yerry Mina for his kind gesture after his side’s 2-1 win against Southampton on Saturday.
Goals from Tom Davies and Richarlison ensured that the Blues picked up three points and lifted them away from the relegation places and into 15th spot in the Premier League table.

Danny Ings got an equaliser for the home side five minutes into the second half, but it was not enough to get anything out of the game and sees them remain in the relegation zone.
The victory for Marco Silva’s side was their first away win of the season and a big moment for the Portuguese manager after the intense scrutiny he has found himself under in recent weeks.
Big Yerald Mina giving his shirt to a young kid at the end there. Absolutely love this lad, absolute colossus and understands what it means to us. On the coach home now, not arsed how long it takes I’m absolutely buzzing! #COYB #Everton #EFC #UTT pic.twitter.com/aKRtT4msTa

After the final whistle, a video emerged on Twitter amongst the travelling supporters of the Columbian centre half throwing his shirt to a fan, which was greatly appreciated by the Goodison Park faithful.
Supporters loved what Mina did and made their feelings clear on social media about the 25-year-old’s actions.

I’d give him the captain’s armband. He’s turning into a very good centre back.
