Plenty of Everton fans have been reacting to a piece of transfer news from Bleacher Report as they have claimed that the Merseyside club are the ‘most interested’ in signing former Liverpool ace Philippe Coutinho in the upcoming summer window.

As per the outlet, Coutinho is having to ‘seriously consider’ the team managed by Carlo Ancelotti, but they also face competition from both Tottenham Hotspur and Liverpool themselves to get his signature over the dotted line.
Bayern Munich are not set to take up the option to sign him on a permanent basis having initially signed him on loan for the 2019/20 season, meaning that he is currently stuck at FC Barcelona until they can find another side to take him off of their hands.

The Toffees may be looking to get one over their bitter rivals by pouncing for the 27-year old, who scored 54 goals and made 45 assists in 201 games in all competitions during his time at Anfield, according to Transfermarkt.
Despite his relatively impressive record in England, the Brazilian international may demand a high wage to join up at Goodsion Park, on top of a likely extortionate loan or transfer fee. Indeed, according to The Telegraph his current contract is worth in excess of £200,000-per-week.
These EFC supporters seemed split on Twitter as to whether Coutinho would be a good signing for the Blues:

I agree, however I think we first need to strengthen in other positions and the system we play under Ancelotti is without a no 10. We would have to go back to the 4231 or play a 41212 to include him. Think he would be a better fit at Arsenal as they need an improvement over Özil.
