Loads of Everton fans have been reacting as Keith Downie has tweeted that Middlesbrough want to sign Yannick Bolasie.
According to the Sky Sports journalist and transfer guru, the Championship club will attempt to pull off a move to sign the DR Congo international before this evening’s domestic window deadline.

However, the Merseyside club would need to subsidise a big chunk of his wages for any kind of deal to happen, but Bolasie is apparently keen on a move to Neil Warnock’s side.
The 31-year old has not played for Everton since 2018 and has only managed to score two goals and provide four assists in 32 games over all competitions, as per Transfermarkt, with a cruciate ligament injury overshadowing his time at Goodison Park.

Bolasie currently earns £75,000 per week, or £3.9m per year (via Salary Sport), and so a move to ‘Boro may suit all parties involved.
