Everton: Fans react to comments from Dominic Calvert-Lewin’s father

Many Everton fans have been reacting to some comments made by the father of Dominic Calvert-Lewin after his son grabbed a debut goal for England.

As posted on his Facebook page (via Toffee TV), Karlda Scooby Lewin talked about how his son was rejected playing football when he was much younger and also thanked several people associated with the Merseyside club, including Carlo Ancelotti, for believing in him.

He also commented on Calvert-Lewin’s debut goal for the senior England team after getting his first call-up to the Three Lions squad by Gareth Southgate.

Indeed, the call-up was thoroughly deserved, as the 23-year old has scored nine goals in just six matches over all competitions so far in the 2020/21 term, including scoring a hat-trick in two separate games, as per Transfermarkt.
