Everton fans have been reacting to the news that their side have drawn Leicester City at home in the Carabao Cup quarter-finals.
The Toffees continue their pursuit of winning their first trophy in 25 years and are three matches away from their first cup final in 11 years.
The Blues were victorious against Watford and won 2-0 during their fourth-round tie against the Hornets, with goals from Mason Holgate and Richarlison securing their place in the last eight of the competition.
Marco Silva’s side were not convincing during the match and were criticised for their performance, particularly Andre Gomes who bore the brunt of the backlash after his poor showing.
Supporters were pleased with the draw as the Toffees managed to avoid Manchester City, Manchester United and Liverpool in the draw. One fan said that it was a good draw to have because of Leicester manager Brendan Rodgers’ rotation, while another said that it would be a “tricky tie” as the Foxes have recruited well.
Here you will find some of the best responses from Everton fans:
Good draw for us that. Leicester have been rotating a lot in the cup. Home draw. No excuses for the lads. How much do they want it?

Decent enough. Home tie. Silva will be sacked by then so it’s a good carrot for a manager who’s qualified

Decent draw that. Wouldn’t be too sure about Utd and LFC getting through their ties if they put out understrength sides. As for us we just need to channel the spirit of the West Ham game and we’ll be fine 👌🏽

Very tricky tie, been impressed with Leicester this season and feel they’ve recruited well.
That said, we’ve got Roberto Carlos @LucasDigne at left back 😍😍😍— David Southon (@RealSlimDavey) October 31, 2019
We can do this.

Any home draw in a cup quarter is a bonus. But Leicester are bang in form. No easy task at all. Come on you blues! #EFC
