Many Everton fans have been reacting to a transfer update from Alan Myers on Joshua Zirkzee.
As per a tweet from the sports news editor, Parma are currently in talks with Bayern Munich over a loan deal for him, according to Sky Italy.

The Goodison Park faithful have previously been linked with a move for the Netherlands U21 international in this month’s window, but as it stands it looks as if Parma may well beat them to his signature.
The update has caused a debate among several supporters of the Merseyside club as to whether they should go out and sign Zirkzee on loan for the rest of the 2020/21 term.

While sufficient cover is needed for Dominic Calvert Lewin if the 23-year-old gets injured or is misfiring in front of goal for a sustained period of time, Zirkzee has no prior senior experience playing in English football, and at just 19 years of age, it is a lot of pressure to put on a teenager.
Everton fan reaction to Zirkzee update
These Toffees seemed split on Twitter as to whether the Blues should sign the striker on loan with just a few days left of the January window remaining:
“If we’re not even interested in a loan, then it’s DCL or bust for the rest of the season and that’s a massive risk/disappointment given where we currently stand.”
“Dust bitten.”
