Loads of Everton fans have been reacting to the latest transfer link, as the Toffees are reportedly planning to offer Nicolas N’Koulou a big pay rise to steal him from Torino this summer.
According to Torino Granata, via Sport Witness, Everton want to bring the £12.6m-rated (Transfermarkt) centre-back to Goodison Park this summer and he is destined to leave Turin. His contract is set to expire in the summer of 2021, and the report claims his relationship with the Serie A club is inevitably going to end due to his performances in recent years.
Of course, this begs the question why Everton would want to sign him, given that his current club clearly believe he is not good enough to push them towards challenging for European places, which is exactly what the Blues want to achieve in the Premier League.

His current value is about 12.5M pounds. I think that’s reasonable for CB help for someone who has proven successful in 2 major leagues across Europe. I’d take him to rotate in/out with Mina and Holgate over Keane any day. He can also play CDM effectively.
