Newly-appointed manager Carlo Ancelotti is ready to reunite himself with the Senegalese defender Kalidou Koulibaly, according to Corriere Della Sera, via Toffee Targets.
The three-time Champions League winner was confirmed as the new Toffees’ manager before their 0-0 draw at Goodison Park.
He was sacked as manager of Napoli following his former side’s 4-0 win against Genk in the Champions League and is looking to bring some of his former players to Merseyside.
Koulibaly is one of those players, who has been recognised as one of the best centre backs in the world and is a big fan of the Italian tactician.
According to Corriere della Sera:
New Everton manager, Carlo Ancelotti, is keen on landing Napoli players Kalidou Koulibaly and Piotr Zielinski. They would be summer targets rather than in the January window. #EFC 🔵 pic.twitter.com/X9fUtzRptv
