These Everton fans were unable to agree on their verdicts on Napoli midfielder Allan would be beneficial to the Toffees’ squad.
Corriere del Mezzogiorno (via Sport Witness) revealed that Carlo Ancelotti’s side had a €20m (£16.7m) bid rejected to bring the Brazilian midfielder to Merseyside in January. The report also suggested that the Serie A outfit were looking for double the amount that Everton tabled. Corriere Dello Sport suggested that the Blues will have to wait until the summer to get their man, adding that a transfer in June is “likely”.
The 29-year-old has only made 14 starts in the league with this season with just one goal and one assist but has strong passing and tackling stats. He has averaged a pass success rate of 87.2% and 3.1 tackles per game, as per Whoscored. In light of this, supporters could not agree and made their feelings clear on social media. One fan said that he is a ready-made player and wouldn’t go amiss in Everton’s midfield, while another was put off due to his age.

The money they talked about in january was too much, over £40m, if its more like £25m in the summer i can see it happening, we won’t make anything back on him but he could be a first team player for 3 to 4 seasons
