Everton: Fans react to report linking Donny van de Beek with move

Many Everton fans have reacted to a latest report linking Donny van de Beek with a summer move to the club.

Since taking over from Portuguese tactician Marco Silva earlier this season, Carlo Ancelotti has gradually improved things at Goodison Park.

Approaching his first summer transfer window in charge of the Merseyside club, the Italian is seemingly keen to bring in his own transfer targets and freshen up the Everton squad.

A number of established European based players have since been linked with the club, but a latest report has now claimed that Ancelotti has asked club officials to enquire about the potential of bringing Ajax midfielder van de Beek to the club.

The £39.6m-valued ace has become a key performer for Ajax after developing through the club’s youth academy, playing a huge part in their successful Champions League campaign last season.

French media outlet Le 10 Sport claim that Everton are looking into a potential deal, but they are expected to be joined by a whole host of Champions League and Europa League clubs.
