Everton supporters in the Transfer Tavern have been pretty satisfied this week after seeing their team maintain their unbeaten start to the new Premier League season last time out.
Marco Silva’s men went into their clash with Bournemouth on Saturday off the back of a 2-2 draw at Wolves and a 2-1 success over Southampton, thus laying the foundations for what Toffees fans hope will be a good season for their club. Yet some have shown disappointment given their side let slip a two-goal lead at the Vitality Stadium last weekend, as goals from Theo Walcott and Michael Keane were cancelled out by Josh King and Nathan Ake to earn the hosts a share of the spoils.
As such, there have been some happy and some frustrated Everton fans up and down the country in recent times, several of whom are likely to be intrigued by the news that striker Sandro Ramirez has joined Real Sociedad on loan for the remainder of the season.

The 23-year-old only made the move to Goodison Park last summer after impressing at La Liga outfit Malaga, yet the former Spain youth international struggled to translate his goal-scoring pedigree into English football in netting just once in 15 appearances for the Toffees.
And in failing to appear under Silva in the Premier League so far this term, the writing appears to have been on the wall for some time, although he did feature, and indeed play well, in the Toffees’ 3-1 win over Rotherham United in the second round of the Carabao Cup on Tuesday night.
And it was his inclusion in that side, just 24 hours before sanctioning his departure, which has somewhat bemused Everton supporters on Twitter…
Why play him last night? Strange

Strange decision to play him last night

Wish him all the best. Very strange him playing yesterday with him leaving today, don’t get me wrong he had a solid performance an done well. Would’ve just rather seen a youngster or fringe player get some minutes cos we won’t we Sandro again now this season.

Why play him if he was going? Should have given someone else a go. Pointless appearance. I would wish him luck but I don’t think he needs it. He earns 100k a week!

While others have bemoaned the decision to let him go, given it leaves manager Silva somewhat short in the forward ranks…
He’s much better than DCL and Niasse and has more potential than Tosun

Terrible choice!! We need to keep him
