Everton fans have been reminiscing on the great squad of the 1980s after the movie premiere of Howard’s Way at St George’s Hall on Monday.
The legendary squad of 1984/85 campaign came together to celebrate the successes of that wonderful season, in which The Toffees won the First Division title, Charity Shield and the Cup Winners’ Cup.

The stars of that season were out on the blue carpet and took their seats to rewatch how they secured three trophies.
Names such as Andy Gray, Neville Southall, Kevin Radcliffe, Peter Reid and Graeme Sharp were present to watch the tale of arguably Everton’s greatest manager and how he constructed his dynasty from the foundations of Goodison Park.
Supporters were delighted to see all of their heroes back together once again and made their feelings clear on social media. One fan described the event as a “remarkable” and “nostalgic” evening, while another said that it was the best Everton squad ever.
