Everton: Fans shower Bernard with praise after Brighton victory

Loads of Everton fans have been heaping praise on midfielder Bernard following their side’s 1-0 win against Brighton on Saturday.

The 27-year-old played 72 minutes of the action as his team got back to winning ways at Goodison Park following a difficult transitional period since the arrival of their new manager Carlo Ancelotti.

The win is their first of 2020 after back-to-back defeats against Manchester City in the Premier League and their hated neighbours in the FA Cup.

He won six out of his eight ground duels, made three successful dribbles, conjured up four key passes and had a pass success rate of 74%, as per SofaScore.

Bernard has three goals in 16 appearances in all competitions in his second season at Goodison Park, after scoring just one goal in 34 league outings during the last campaign, as per TransferMarkt.
