Plenty of Everton fans have been slamming Andre Gomes as the Liverpool Echo have reported that his fitness will be assessed ahead of this weekend’s game against Manchester United.
As per the news outlet, the central midfield player picked up a slight injury in the 2-1 loss to Newcastle United and now may not to be able to play a part against the Red Devils.

Some members of the Goodison Park faithful will be pleased if he does indeed miss the game, given that several of them blasted his rather poor display at St. James’ Park against the Magpies in his last outing.

Gomes’ potential absence may give other players a chance to impress Carlo Ancelotti, as the Merseyside club look to bounce back from two straight defeats in the Premier League.
