Lots of Everton fans have slammed a transfer link to Diogo Dalot as A Bola have reported that the Merseyside club are interested in signing the Manchester United man in the summer window.
According to the outlet, Carlo Ancelotti’s team are looking to sign a right-back who is also capable of playing as a third central defender, and they see Dalot as a good fit.

However, the 21-year old has never played as a centre-back in his senior club career so far for either Porto or the Red Devils, leading one member of the Goodison Park faithful on Twitter to label the link as ‘nonsense’.
Considering that the Toffees also have Jarrad Branthwaite, Mason Holgate, Michael Keane and Yerry Mina in their senior squad, perhaps they are already well-covered in the centre-half position.

These Everton supporters slammed the news, as they perhaps feel that the Portuguese international would not be an improvement on their current squad:

NAh. I would rather have Branthwaite play and improve.
