Everton: Fans slam Gylfi Sigurdsson as he made 0 passes to Dominic Calvert-Lewin v Manchester United

Plenty of Everton fans have been slamming Gylfi Sigurdsson as a stat was tweeted by The Gwladys Street exemplifying his poor display versus Manchester United.

As per the tweet, the Iceland international did not manage to make a single pass to Dominic Calvert-Lewin before he was subbed off for Alex Iwobi by Carlo Ancelotti midway through the second half.

Indeed, Sigurdsson had a very poor game in general, as he did not manage to register a single shot on target, and also failed to make a successful dribble, cross or long ball (Sofascore).

The 31 year-old also lost possession of the ball no fewer than eight times in the match, earning him a measly 6.4 rating by Sofascore.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s team ran out relatively comfortable 3-1 winners in the end at Goodison Park, and it is perhaps a game that Sigurdsson will want to forget.
