Thankfully, to spare the blushes of the 23-year old, Dominic Calvert-Lewin connected superbly to a Lucas Digne cross with a bullet header into the top corner in the second half to give the Toffees a 1-0 win.
Richarlison actually had a good game for the Blues bar the miss, making 11/11 successful dribbles and winning 23/26 of his duels in the match, earning him the joint-highest rating with Jordan Pickford (8.2) by Sofascore.
