Many Everton fans have been slamming Shani Tarashaj as the Liverpool Echo have reported that his contract at the Toffees has been terminated.
As per the outlet, the Switzerland international had his two-year loan with FC Emmen ended prematurely.

The Goodison Park faithful extended Tarashaj’s contract by an extra 12 months in the last summer to help make his loan to Emmen possible, who were set to pay his remaining wages over the course of two years, rather than one.
The Merseyside club were only due to pay Tarashaj for what would have been the final 12 months of his original deal.
However, his loan has now been cancelled and he has also left the Blues, with it not yet clear if the Toffees have paid up his remaining salary in full or reached a settlement to cancel his contract.

Indeed, Tarashaj failed to play in a single game for Everton’s senior side, and so the £3.6 million spent to buy him from Grasshoppers back in 2016 looks to have been a total waste of money.
