Everton: Fans slam Tom Davies who made 0 key passes vs Norwich City

Loads of Everton fans have been slamming Tom Davies for his display against Norwich City in the Merseyside club’s 1-0 away win at Carrow Road in the Premier League.

Despite Michael Keane eventually scoring the winner from a corner kick, several members of the Goodison Park faithful were still keen to slam Davies for his overall performance.

The central midfield player achieved the lowest rating (6.3) out of all of his teammates, as he failed to register a single key pass all game, according to Sofascore.

Davies also did not manage to register a cross, shot, dribble, clearance, blocked shot, interception or even tackle, as per the website.

These are arguably all key areas for a midfielder in the middle of the park, and the Englishman did not excel both in an attacking or defending sense.

Although the Toffees did eventually win the game and claim all three points, perhaps these EFC supporters were right to slam Davies on Twitter, with one labelling his display “horrific”:

Should sell him, he’s 22 now, not a kid any more. Would get a relatively good fee and would be good for FFP as we paid nothing for him.
