Lots of Everton fans have been speculating as transfer target Gabriel Magalhaes commented on an Instagram post by Richarlison (via The Gwladys Street) following his goal that secured a 1-0 victory against Chris Wilder’s Sheffield United in the Premier League.
As per his post, the striker said his congratulations to Jarrad Branthwaite as the central defender helped Carlo Ancelotti’s team keep a clean sheet and also wished Lucas Digne a happy birthday.

This prompted fellow Brazilian Gabriel to comment on the post, leaving several members of the Goodison Park faithful to speculate as to whether he will be signing for the Merseyside club on Twitter.
Indeed, the 22-year old could be quite the pick up by the Toffees based off of his stats in Ligue 1 in the 2019/20 season compared to those of Mason Holgate, Michael Keane and Yerry Mina in the Premier League so far.
Gabriel has averaged the most tackles and passes per league game, and also has the highest average rating on Whoscored.
