Lots of Everton fans have been speculating as to where Gabriel Magalhaes may move in the upcoming summer transfer window as Sky Sports News Editor Alan Myers revealed on his Twitter page that a Premier League club ‘historically’ in the ‘top 6’ has made a bid for him.
The Merseysiders have been strongly linked with a move for the central defender in the past but Myers’ claim may mean that the Toffees are not one of the possible clubs to have made a bid.

‘Historically’, the ‘top 6’ – or ‘big 6’ as they have been sometimes dubbed – are Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool, Manchester City, Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur, who have finished in these positions in the top flight table for the past three campaigns, as per BBC.
However, with the Gunners as well as Spurs currently sitting outside of these positions, some members of the Goodison Park faithful have been speculating that one of the north London clubs have bid for the 22-year old.

Nevertheless, potentially missing out on the Brazilian may not be that bad considering how his statistics in Ligue 1 in this term compare to those of Mason Holgate, Michael Keane and Yerry Mina in the Premier League so far. Gabriel has averaged fewer clearances and key passes than all of the Blues’ centre-backs, according to Whoscored.
These Everton supporters did not seem too bothered that the centre-half may not be joining them this summer:
