Many Everton fans were unhappy with Moise Kean being left out of the Toffees’ starting line-up by Duncan Ferguson for today’s Premier League clash against Chelsea.
In his first game since taking temporary charge following the dismissal of Marco Silva during the week, the caretaker boss went with Richarlison and Dominic Calvert-Lewin as a front two, with the 19-year-old Italy striker named among the substitutes.
Everton announced their starting line-up on their official Twitter channel @Everton an hour before kick-off.

Ferguson’s decision to move Richarlison into a centre-forward role from the left winger role he occupied in previous games paid quick dividends as the Brazilian gave Everton the lead with a header in the first five minutes, with Calvert-Lewin also justifying his selection by scoring twice in the second half.
Kean had not scored in 13 games for the Toffees since joining from Juventus in the summer and has struggled to get into the team, with just two Premier League starts to his name so far.
These Everton fans on Twitter voiced their disagreement with Ferguson’s decision not to start with the Italian teenager in attack:
