Everton: Fans want Ellis Simms in first team after goal against West Ham United

Plenty of Everton fans have called for Ellis Simms to be involved in the first team squad after his latest goal for the U23s against West Ham United.

The 19 year-old put his team 2-0 up with a tap-in into the empty net after an error made by the Hammers goalkeeper not even 20 minutes into the first half.

That is now the seventh goal that he has scored after just 10 games in the Premier League 2 so far in the 2020/21 term (Transfermarkt), which has left a lot of members of the Goodison Park faithful wondering as to when he will finally get his opportunity under Carlo Ancelotti.

The likes of Dominic Calvert-Lewin and Richarlison may be rested at times by the Italian boss over the course of the very busy Christmas period, and Simms could well be the perfect player to deputise for Calvert-Lewin in particular, as one below fan alluded to.
