With constant speculation surrounding the future of Marco Silva as Everton boss, after starting the season with five losses in eight games, fans have named their perfect successor.
The Toffees have started the campaign in very slow fashion, winning just twice in their last eight encounters, prompting large sections of supporters to dream of a possible managerial candidate that can take the mantle and guide them into Europe.

Despite winning their last match, a 2-1 victory away to Southampton, some fans still think that a change is needed sooner rather than later, with journalist Duncan Castles linking Manchester City assistant coach Mikel Arteta to the role.
Arteta, who made 209 appearances for the Toffees during his playing career, finding the net 35 times and assisting 33 more, as per Transfermarkt, has been working under the tutelage of City boss Pep Guardiola for the past three seasons – helping to guide the Sky Blues to seven trophies in that period.
