Everton: Fans want to see Mikel Arteta take over from Marco Silva as manager

Everton fans have been pleading for the club to bring in Mikel Arteta as their new manager.

Current boss Marco Silva has come under severe pressure after his side’s 2-0 defeat to Norwich City on Saturday. The chorus of boos from the home fans told the story in terms of how the supporters feel towards the Portuguese manager at present.

The Blues have only picked up four wins out of 13 Premier League games and have a disastrous away record that spans from the end of last season.

As a result, there have been calls for Silva to lose his job and speculation of his successor has circulated, with many names mentioned. However, one name has stuck out more than others that satisfies a section of the Gwladys Street faithful.
