Monday saw Carlo Ancelotti take Everton training for the first time, with the Italian linking up with former interim boss Duncan Ferguson as they make preparations for their Boxing Day clash against Burnley.
Ancelotti was snapped in conversation with the Scot in training yesterday and fans took to Twitter to speculate over what the two were discussing.
It seems that Everton fans are in good spirits following the arrival of a manager of Ancelotti’s calibre, which still dominated the replies to the tweet sent by the club’s official account.
Some supporters went a step further and tried to make sense of the picture which showed a slightly puzzled Ancelotti appearing to quiz Ferguson on his new surroundings.
With some suggesting Ferguson was offering the new man some ‘advice’, others felt Ancelotti may have had issues with his training gear.
