Everton: Carlo Ancelotti confirms Yerry Mina injury blow

Everton have received a fresh blow as Carlo Ancelotti has now confirmed that Yerry Mina will be out for between three and four weeks.
The former FC Barcelona ace, currently valued at £18m by Transfermarkt, will miss the Merseyside derby against bitter rivals Liverpool on Saturday evening along with a number of upcoming games for the Goodison Park faithful.
Mina loss a big blow for Everton
Losing Mina for a number of matches, including the derby and other important clashes that will be pivotal to their hopes of finishing in the top four of the Premier League, is nothing short of a big blow to the Toffees.
Should Mina play ahead of Holgate or Keane at Everton?
Yes

No

The central defender has been a rock for the Blues in the heart of the defence, winning no fewer than 4.7 of his duels per appearance in the top flight so far in the 2020/21 season, in addition to averaging 4.5 clearances, 1.1 interceptions and one tackle a match (Sofascore).
He has only missed four games in the division all campaign, establishing himself as a very important player for Ancelotti’s team.
Nonetheless, EFC will have to find a way to cope without the 26-year-old now, with Ben Godfrey, Mason Holgate and Michael Keane the likely candidates to try and step up to the mark.
