Everton: Fans blast Anthony Gordon versus Rotherham United - Everton News

Some Everton fans have been blasting the display of Anthony Gordon in their FA Cup tie versus Rotherham United at Goodison Park.

Aside from his fine assist within the opening 10 minutes of the first half, from which Cenk Tosun greatly capitalised with a delicate chip to give the Merseyside club the lead, the England U21 international struggled to make much more of an impact in the game.

The 19 year-old even had fewer touches of the ball than his own goalkeeper in Robin Olsen, with just 22 in total, and lost possession six times off the back of some of those touches (Sofascore).

He also lost out on four of his duels in the match, and failed to record a single shot on target, cross or long ball (Sofascore).
