Many Everton fans have been left to fume at some early team news ahead of their game against Crystal Palace in the Premier League on Monday evening.

Speaking in his pre-game press conference ahead of the match against Roy Hodgson's men at Goodison Park, Carlo Ancelotti confirmed (via The Toffee Blues) that Fabian Delph is out injured and thus will play no part in the fixture.

The former Aston Villa and Manchester City player has already missed no fewer than 15 games through injury so far in the 2020/21 term and has a very long record of being injured throughout his whole career (Transfermarkt).

The fact that he is injured once more seems to be the last straw for several members of the Merseyside club faithful, as they are starting to question the purpose of him still being at the Toffees.
