Everton: Fans fume as Seamus Coleman called up for Republic of Ireland

Lots of Everton fans have been left fuming as Phil Kirkbride tweeted that Seamus Coleman has been called up for the Republic of Ireland.
As per the Liverpool Echo journalist, the 32 year-old has been called up for his country to play against England, Wales and Bulgaria.
Should Everton keep Coleman?
Yes

No

While for some fans it is always nice that one of the players from the club they support is called up to play for their country, several members of the Goodison Park faithful have reacted negatively to the news.
They of course do not want Coleman to pick up an injury while on international duty, which is very possible, and so he could potentially miss out on matches for the Merseyside club upon his return.
Indeed, the right-back has been a key player for Carlo Ancelotti’s team so far in the 2020/21 term, making a total of six appearances in all competitions, and is also the club captain, highlighting his importance to the side.

Don’t go, Seamo.

We need to be a little more selfish re these internationals – too nice letting everyone go when other sides pull them out

Typical and he will probably play over Doherty
