Loads of Everton fans have been lauding some injury news coming from Carlo Ancelotti regarding Jean-Philippe Gbamin.
As transcribed by the Liverpool Echo, the Italian boss had this to say about the Ivory Coast international:
“Gbamin is working individually, he is not here [at USM Finch Farm] yet.
“I think he is going to be here in 15 days and start to work apart from the team in the beginning, and then with the team.
“At the end of the November, I think he can be fit to play.”
Indeed, it has come as a boost to some members of the Goodison Park faithful that they may be able to see Gbamin in action soon, given that the Toffees paid £22.5 million to sign him from Mainz in August of last year.
Where will Everton finish in the Premier League?
7th - 10th
In the 2018/19 term before his move to the Blues, the defensive midfield player won a rather impressive 5.3 of his duels per game in the Bundesliga, and also averaged 1.6 tackles and one interceptions per match, according to Sofascore.
However, with the arrival of Allan from SSC Napoli, Gbamin’s game time may well be limited, but at least he should be able to get some minutes on the pitch.
