Many Everton fans have been reacting to an injury update on Jean-Philippe Gbamin as the Liverpool Echo have reported that he will hopefully play by the end of the year.
As per the news outlet, the Ivory Coast international will return to Finch Farm after the next international break.

Gbamin is stepping up his rehabilitation from a problem with his Achilles in a suburb of Paris, where Carlo Ancelotti has confirmed he will remain.
The 25-year old has had a horrid injury record dating back to his time with both Lens and Mainz, while he missed a staggering 42 matches for the Merseyside club in the 2019/20 season (Transfermarkt).

Nonetheless, Gbamin still has a lot to offer the Toffees, as in the 2018/19 campaign before his move to the Blues from Mainz, the defensive midfielder won a rather impressive 5.3 of his duels per match in the Bundesliga and also averaged 1.6 tackles and one interception per appearance (Sofascore).
