Everton: Fans react to report on Josh King’s future - Everton News

Galatasaray have approached out-of-favour Everton forward Josh King, according to Football Insider.

The report stated that the 29-year-old is set to leave at the end of the season after failing to make an impression at Goodison Park.

He would depart on a free transfer, having only signed a short-term deal when he joined from Bournemouth in the January transfer window.

The Norwegian has yet to start a game for the Blues, with only nine substitute appearances under his belt, five of which have lasted less than 10 minutes.

Everton manager Carlo Ancelotti said after his arrival that ‘the dream for every one of us is for him to stay with us for a long time’, but he warned that it was ‘down to the player’ to convince the club that he merited a contract extension.

An exit for King could force the Toffees back into the market in search of cover for Dominic Calvert-Lewin.

Twitter fan feed The Toffee Blues relayed the Football Insider report, and here’s how some Everton fans reacted.
